Transient Flow Modeling in Ansys Fluent

Nearly all flows in nature are unsteady. Although steady state approach is the preferred way to do CFD analysis because it is faster and easier, there are many applications where you must model the unsteady flow behavior. Performing a transient calculation is similar to performing a steady state calculation with some additional considerations: Extra inputs are required, and more data is generated.

Velocity gradient can be seen across the cube. Change in velocity can deeply affect the temperature distribution across the body.

Streamelines of flow can be seen when passed over the cube and velocity distribution can also be seen with prominent recirculation
